Access Alarm View Page

Before you begin

To use the Alarm View page, you must first configure alarms.

About this task

The Alarm View page is a real-time application that displays active and historical alarms on key variables.

The active alarms are displayed on the Open tab, and the closed and completed alarms are displayed on the Completed tab.

Procedure

Access the Plant Applications Web Client, and then select the Alarms application icon () from the left navigation bar.
The Alarm View page appears and displays the following fields:
  • Acknowledgement status
  • Comments for each alarm
  • Time Range for an alarm
  • Cause Reasons
  • Action taken
