Error Messages while Creating a Lot

This section describes the different error messages that you might see while you create a lot during serial/lot consumption. For more information on creating a serial/lot, refer to the section Create a Lot.

Error Messages Message Description Corrective Actions
Complete is the system default for lot creation but Inventory = <No> The Inventory flag is NO for the Complete production status.
  • Kindly contact your Plant Apps administrator.
  • If you are the Plant Apps administrator, you must configure the Inventory flag to YES for the Complete production status using Production Status Editor in Plant Applications Administrator> Global Configuration.
Complete is not a valid status on this location, therefore lot cannot be created here The unit on which you are creating the serial/lot belongs to the raw material input configuration, and for that unit, Complete is not available in the list of valid statuses in the Raw Material Input configuration.
  • You must create the serial/lot on a different unit.
  • If you are a Plant Apps administrator, you must add Complete to the list of valid statuses using Raw Material Inputs configuration in Plant Applications Administrator, for that unit.
