Use a preconfigured fault resource in a subprocess
Before you begin
Note: Activities can be inserted at both the workflow and subprocess
levels.
Procedure
- In the navigator, click .

In the Workflows list, select the resource you want to work with
Note: A resource must already have been added in order to select it from this list. For more information, see Add a resource to the workflow model.
- In the Displays panel, click .
- Click the Workflow Editor tab.

Insert an activity:
- At the workflow level:
- From the Standard Activities panel, click and drag the activity you want to insert to a drop point.
Note: Activities can exist only between the presubprocess and postsubprocess.
- At the subprocess level:
- Double-click the local subprocess you want to add the activity to.
- From the Standard Activities panel, click and drag the activity you want to insert to a drop point.
- At the workflow level:

On the activity configuration panel, click Select
Fault.
The Universal Browser appears.
- Select the fault you want to add to the fault activity, and then click OK.
- Click Save.
- Test the workflow and view the results. The workflow terminates with the message specified in the fault resource.
