Configure security certificates for a click-once client
For a click-once client, use this procedure to install certificates using the certificate authority generated by the Workflow server installation.
About this task
Note: Support for one-click installation of Workflow will be discontinued in a future release of the software. The client installation should be used when one-click installation is discontinued.
Procedure
- In the Workflow installation directory, go to the following folder to find the required certificate files: <installdir>\Program Files\Proficy\Proficy Workflow\Certificates\Export.
- Copy the following certificate files to your click-once computer:
- ProficySelfSignedCA.pfx
- ProficySTS.pfx
- For a click-once client running on Windows, run mmc.exe.
- From the Console window, go to the File menu, and then select Add/Remove Snap-in. The Add or Remove Snap-ins dialog box appears. In Available Snap-ins, double-click Certificates.
- In Available Snap-ins, double-click Certificates.The Certificates snap-in dialog box appears.
- Select Computer account, click Next, select Local computer, and then click Finish.
- Click OK.
- From Certificates (Local Computer), expand Trusted Root Certification Authorities\Certificates, and then add ProficySelfSignedCA.pfx.
- From Certificates (Local Computer), expand Personal\Certificates, and then add ProficySTS.pfx.
