Compile Errors
Compile errors occur when there is a problem with a workflow and it cannot execute.
Workflow Errors
When a workflow resource is invalid, such as a subprocess or user activity, you receive an error message that you can view in the Overview section of the Workflow Editor, or in the Feedback Zone. The type of errors you see can be either configuration errors, such as a broken binding, or external errors, such as a missing resource being referenced in the workflow (for example, a data item). You can use the compile feature to resolve an issue with external resources only. For example, if you restore a missing piece of equipment, you can use the Compile button to make the workflow valid.
The following table describes the available options.
Attribute | Value | Description |
---|---|---|
View Errors | N/A | Click to view errors related to the current workflow. |
Compile | N/A | Click to recompile a workflow after you resolve the error. |
