Delete a Property Category

Before you begin

Delete all the property groups that are included in the property category you want to delete.
Important: You can not delete the system groups that appear in the application such as Material Import, MaterialLot Import, and WorkOrder Import.

Procedure

  1. Select Property Definition ().
    The Property Definition page appears, displaying a list of properties available in the Plant Applications Web Client.
  2. Under the Manage Categories tab, navigate to the row containing the category you want to delete, then select Delete Category ().
    The message appears: Do you want to remove 'name of the category' category?.
  3. Select Delete.

Results

The property category is deleted.
