About Custom Calls
Custom Calls allow you to configure and integrate an external service as a PRE or a POST call with an action performed in the integrated application. This configuration is action-specific, not application-specific. For example, for any action (Clock on/off, BOM Item Consumption/ Selection, or Complete), if there is any PRE/POST call configuration created, the expected behaviour is same in the Unit Operations, Work Queue, and Process Order applications.
- Access a list of actions and their details. You can also modify the details of an action.
- Configure and integrate an external service.
- Create a PRE call.
- Create a POST call.

When you select Submit to create a non-conformance, you can execute a PRE or POST call from an external service in response to the Submit Defect action. You can configure the custom calls for the Submit Defect action in the Configuration application. The custom call will be executed, and a Pass/Fail message will be displayed accordingly.
