Philippe Piron

President and CEO of GE Vernova's Electrification Systems business

Philippe Piron is CEO of GE Vernova’s Electrification Systems businesses, which provide products and services required for the transmission, distribution, conversion and storage of electricity from point of generation to point of consumption. Philippe has more than 25 years’ experience developing and transforming high-tech and industrial companies with a global footprint. He joined GE Vernova in November 2020. Prior to this, he was CEO of Alcatel Submarine Networks. Philippe graduated with a PhD in Technology Management from Ecole Polytechnique in France.

Edgardo Torres

Power Conversion & Storage Leader

Ed Torres currently serves as Power Conversion & Storage Leader. As a seasoned global GE Vernova leader, Ed’s accountability encompasses formulating strategy, driving execution, and delivering against operational plans – from selling the right products through to project execution, delivery to customers and after sales services. Ed’s GE Vernova journey began in 1997 on the company’s TLP Edison program, placed with GE’s Consumer & Industrial business in Louisville, Kentucky. Ed holds a B.S. degree in mechanical engineering and in 2006, he earned his executive MBA from Emory University, Atlanta.

Andy Cooper

North Europe and Industrial Electrification Solutions Leader

Andy Cooper currently serves as North Europe and Industrial Electrification Solutions Leader. Further to establishing and leading Power Conversion’s Global Marine Service organization, Andy went on to lead the full portfolio of New Equipment Projects and After Sales Service in 2016, accountable for business delivered globally by the UK and India regions. Andy later served as Managing Director for the UK, Nordic and APAC regions. Shortly after, he took on the role of leading Global Marine to become the figurehead for Marine in GE Vernova, based in Rugby, UK. In 2024, Andy celebrated 40 years with the business, a time which saw him obtain broad experience.

Rodrigo Elias

General Manager,
NORTH AMERICa Leader

Rodrigo Elias currently serves as North America Leader. Rodrigo joined GE in 1997 as Sales Manager and since then has held positions of increasing complexity and responsibility in Sales, Services, Manufacturing, and Operations across several GE Energy businesses. In 2013, Rodrigo joined legacy Power Conversion in the role of Latin America Services General Manager and more recently served as the General Manager for Motors for the Americas region (Latin America + North America). Rodrigo has a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the Federal University of Minas Gerais and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Fundação Getulio Vargas.

Pierre Marx

SOUTH EUROPE, MIDDLE EAST & AFRICA and POWER STABILITY SOLUTIONS LEADER

Pierre Marx currently serves as the South Europe, Middle East & Africa and Power Stability Solutions Leader. His previous roles include Global Commercial Lean and Operations leader for the GE Hydro Power
business, General Manager for GE Vernova Hydro Power in North America, and Global Supply Chain Finance Leader for GE Renewable Energy. Before joining Alstom, Pierre had several roles as Project Director, both for Egis, an engineering company, and for the Ministry of Ecology, Energy, and Sustainable Development as Project Manager, promoting renewable energy projects across French overseas
territories.

Alex Mc Lennan

LATIN AMERICA Leader

Alexander McLennan (Alex) currently serves as Latin America Leader. Alex joined legacy GE Power Conversion in April 2022 as regional Leader for Latin America. In this role, he was responsible for overall strategy and execution for the region. Alex is a seasoned executive with 20+ years of experience in GE, mainly in the Oil & Gas industry where he has taken various roles both in Commercial areas as well as Operations. He has over 10 years in business management roles in different Business Cycles. Alex is a graduate of Universidad Católica Argentina and has completed various Executive Programs including EDP in Northwestern Kellogg University.

Robert Schikora

Central & Eastern Europe Leader

Robert Schikora currently serves as Central & Eastern Europe Leader for Power Conversion & Storage, where he is responsible for strategy and execution. Robert was the Director of Service for Germany after having held various management positions in service for many years. Robert has over 25 years of experience and is a graduate engineer in power electronics (Berlin University of Applied Sciences Berlin).

Nigel Went

Asia Pacific Leader

Nigel Went currently serves as Asia Pacific Leader. Nigel leads the Region, incorporating Australia, China, Asia Pacific and India, and is responsible for strategy and execution across the region. Nigel brings more than 25 years of GE leadership experience across legacy Power Conversion, Grid Solutions and GE Energy in commercial, channel and business leadership across the Asia region. Prior to joining GE, Nigel led a number of projects in Australia, China, Thailand & the Philippines.

Paul English

Energy Storage Solutions Leader

Paul English currently serves as Energy Storage Solutions Leader. He joined Alstom Power Conversion in 1997, working in the Marine division of the business. He joined Wartsila Naval in 2004 and
Converteam in 2009, where he was Business Leader for the North Europe region. At Power Conversion, Paul led the Global Marine business, and in 2019, he was part of the team that founded the
Hybrids business in GE. Paul has lived in Hong Kong, the UK, France, and Singapore and holds a BSc in Engineering from University of Portsmouth.

Marcelo Beling

Marketing & Business Intelligence Leader

Marcelo Beling currently serves as Marketing & Business Intelligence Leader. Marcelo joined GE in 2012, has held a range of positions in engineering, project management, market intelligence and commercial strategy. Marcelo’s multi-segment, multi-functional accumulated experience, together with a strong analytical acumen and strategic vision will be a key asset in the next steps of the Power Conversion & Storage business, supporting the segment to unlock our growth potential. Marcelo’s academic background comprise of a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the Federal University of Miras Gerais, and a Master’s in Finance, awarded by the University of São Paulo.

Mike Bowman

Products, Systems & Technologies Officer

Mike Bowman currently serves as Chief Products, Systems & Technologies Officer. Mike has spent 27 years over Global Research Center, GE Energy, and GE Renewable Energy. His career has focused on energy conversion systems, performance technologies, product ideation and development, as well as leading efforts in understanding climate change and CO2 science. In addition to his roles at GE, Mike was invited to join the United Nations IPCC (Intergovernmental Policy on Climate Change) for contributions to the Technical Assessment Report #4. In 2003, he was selected as a member of the MIT TR100, the top 100 young innovators in the world. Mike holds over 20 patents and has 5 peer-reviewed publications. Mike also holds a master’s degree in mechanical engineering from Union College.

Olivier Bugeaud

Sourcing Leader

Olivier Bugeaud currently serves as Global Sourcing Leader for Power Conversion & Storage. Olivier is responsible for the global coordination of our sourcing activities and the implementation of best-in-class sourcing practices, processes, and tools. Olivier joined legacy GE Power Conversion in January 2022 from Kelvion Thermal Engineered Solutions where he was Vice President - Sourcing, having been with Kelvion Thermal Solutions since 2002 in various roles across Procurement, Supply Chain and Project Management. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Foreign Languages applied to International Trade and Business and a Specialization in Purchasing Marketing from Nantes Chamber of Commerce.

Cat Heu

Global Services Leader

Cat Heu currently serves as Global Services Leader. Cat joined GE in 2005 through the Financial Management Program within GE Energy, and subsequently held various roles at GE Healthcare EMEA. In 2014 she joined the energy business, undertaking roles within finance, Customer Experience and later business transformation and commercial excellence. Cat’s role at the services HQ team began in 2020, where she became our Global Services Leader in 2022, and began to support the Power Conversion & Storage integration at the end of 2024.

Len Hill

EHS & Quality Leader

Len Hill currently serves as Environment, Health and Safety & Quality Leader. Len has been in this role since 2017 and has over 30 years of GE service. In his time at GE, Len has held Quality, System Engineering, Product, Project leadership roles in GE Transportation and has Operations experience from his time in both the GE Lighting and Healthcare businesses. Len has a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) from Western Carolina University and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh.

Syreeta Jeffs

Commercial Operations Leader

Syreeta Jeffs currently serves as Global Commercial Operations and Risk Leader where she supports the businesses in bidding, negotiating and signing contracts with the appropriate level of risk/reward balance and compliance with all GE Vernova policies and strategies. Syreeta has over 25 years of GE Service and has held numerous roles in commercial, contracts and risk and has extensive experience in Government and Utilities contracting. Syreeta has also been part of the UK Board of Directors since 2018.

Elisa Lambertini

General Counsel

Elisa Lambertini currently serves as General Counsel for Power Conversion & Storage. She has held the role of General Counsel since 2016. Elisa joined legacy Power Conversion’s legal team in 2012 supporting the commercial team and leading the business’ commercial legal strategy. Elisa joined GE in 2005 in GE Energy Services business as Europe Senior Risk Attorney. In 2008, she assumed the role of Global Leader of ES Risk Attorneys. Before joining GE, Elisa practiced law with Baker & McKenzie. She earned her law degree from the University of Milan.

Sabrina Luong Bouilhac

HUMAN RESOURCES LEADER

Sabrina Luong Bouilhac currently serves as Human Resources Leader. She is a results-focused HR Leader, dedicated to building and executing the company’s HR strategy and creating an inclusive culture that promotes business growth and cultivates customer satisfaction by empowering and motivating employees to realize their full potential and bring their best self at work. She joined GE in 2009 and has over 20 years of HR experience in diverse HR functions and industries. Sabrina holds a Master’s degree in Human Resources and Philosophy.

Ash Patel

Chief Finance Officer

Ashraf joined GE in 2006 as part of the Financial Management Program where he undertook rotations in Energy, Oil & Gas and Aviation. In 2008 he joined GE Gas Power Services as a Senior Finance Analyst where he gained experience across different financial disciplines such as FP&A, Commercial Finance and Controllership. Ashraf then joined GE Power Conversion in 2014 as Global Marine Projects Finance Manager. He then took various other Global roles before becoming Regional CFO of the Americas region in January 2020. He has been the Business Line CFO of Power Conversion since 2023. Ashraf is based in London, UK and has a BSc in Mathematics and Economics from the London School of Economics.

Shawn Ruger

Global Operations & Lean Leader

Shawn Ruger currently serves as Global Operations & Lean Leader. With more than 25 years of operational leadership experience, Shawn brings a broad range of expertise in leading global Manufacturing operations, Sourcing & Procurement functions, Lean deployments & improvements, strategy development, Project Management & execution, and driving Operational Excellence results. Shawn holds a bachelor’s degree in Finance and Political Science, M Ashraf then joined GE Power Conversion in 2014 as Global Marine Projects Finance Manager. He then took various other Global roles before becoming Regional CFO of the Americas region in January 2020. He has been the Business Line CFO of Power Conversion since 2023.aster’s certificates in Applied Project Management and IT Project Management, and has completed post-graduate executive education at M.I.T. Sloan Business School and Harvard Law School.

Reyna Torrecillas

Chief Compliance Officer, Electrification Systems

Reyna Torrecillas currently serves as Chief Compliance Officer for GE Vernova’s Electrification Systems business. Reyna works in partnership with the Compliance Executive Team and GE Vernova’s Electrification Systems Leadership to manage the risks, set the vision and execute on the priorities for the Compliance Program globally. Reyna graduated with honors as B.S., Information Systems Engineer from Instituto Tecnologico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey – ITESM, and in 2020 was recognized as one of the Most Influential Women in Business in Mexico.

Shilpa Totawat

Digital Technology Leader

Shilpa Totawat currently serves as Digital Technology Leader for Power Conversion & Storage, where she spearheads the strategic direction and execution of digital technology transformation initiatives. Shilpa brings 25 years of industry expertise and more than two decades of GE leadership experience across legacy Power Conversion, GE Aerospace, and GE Appliances. Her experience spans various DT domains, including Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Finance, Commercial, Global Supply Chain, Quality and EHS functions. She holds a Master’s degree in Computer Applications from Gujarat University, India, and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from MLSU, India.
