Add an activity to a fault handler activity
Before you begin
Note: Activities can be inserted at both the workflow and subprocess levels.
Procedure
- In the Navigator, click .

In the Workflows list, select the resource you want to work with
Note: A resource must already have been added in order to select it from this list. For more information, see .
- In the Displays panel, click .
- Click the Workflow Editor tab.

Insert an activity:
- At the workflow level:
- From the Standard Activities panel, click and
drag the activity you want to insert to a drop
point.Note: Activities can exist only between the presubprocess and postsubprocess.
- From the Standard Activities panel, click and
drag the activity you want to insert to a drop
point.
- At the subprocess level:
- Double-click the local subprocess you want to add the activity to.
- From the Standard Activities panel, click and drag the activity you want to insert to a drop point.
- At the workflow level:
- Double-click the process step you want to work with.
- On the activity configuration panel, click Show fault handlers for this activity next to View.
- In the workspace, click Click here to add a fault handler.
- Double-click the fault handler activity you want to add an activity to.
- Insert an activity.
- To return to the process step, click the link in the breadcrumbs.
