About this task
The following Tomcat screen appears when you try to upgrade the Plant Applications Web Client and there is an issue with the Tomcat service.To troubleshoot the Tomcat service error, perform the following steps:
Procedure
- In the Tomcat window, ensure that you have entered the correct HTTPS port to continue with the installation.
- Ensure that the Tomcat service is running.
- Log in to the computer where you installed the Plant Applications Web Client.
- Select Start, and then search for the Services application.
- In the command prompt, enter
services.msc
.The User Account Control window appears.
- Select Yes.
The Services window appears.
- Verify that the Status of the Tomcat service configured during the Plant Applications Web Client installation appears as Running. If not, start the service.
