Table 1. Enhancements and New Features

The following enhancements and new features have been added.

A quick testing of the functionality of an analytic has been added. To perform a quick testing, complete the following steps:
  1. Ingest the analytic to be tested.
  2. Access the Analytic Template page.
  3. Select the analytic ingested.

    The Analytic Deployment page appears.

  4. Select the Test Analytic tab. This section enables you to enter the input payload in the JSON format.
  5. After submission, the corresponding JSON output data is displayed.
    Note: This feature is enabled for Predix runtime only and no data will be ingested into Predix Time Series.

Limitation

You cannot verify the alert generation functionality because alerts generated are always associated with assets. For alert generation, you must perform normal configuration process as follows:
  1. Select the asset filter.
  2. Configure the IO mapping.
  3. Complete the scheduling steps.

To enhance functionality, support for the following thirteen special characters is now included:
  • Colon ":"
  • Hyphen "-"
  • Comma ","
  • Dollar symbol "$"
  • Pound symbol "#"
  • Forward slash "/"
  • Backslash "\"
  • International characters, such as “µ”, “α”, “β”, “¥”, “Ω”, “£”
