Using this feature, you can calculate the financial risk and perform inspection planning for heat exchanger bundles as per API 581 3rd Edition, Risk Based Inspection Methodology Part 5-Special Equipment- Heat Exchanger Tube Bundles. To facilitate this enhancement, the following changes have been made:
Note: You cannot use RBI 581 HE Bundle Damage Evaluation along with other degradation mechanisms to perform HE Bundle calculation on an RBI 581 Risk Analysis. You can now perform Inspection Planning at individual Degradation Mechanism level in the RBI 581 module. You can determine the Target Inspection Date at the Damage Mechanism level, which provides a granular approach to Inspection Planning. The Target Inspection Date is also calculated at the analysis level based on the driving Degradation Mechanism. The following new fields have been added to the Damage Mechanism to capture the planning results:
