Note: You cannot use RBI 581 HE Bundle Damage Evaluation along with other degradation mechanisms to perform HE Bundle calculation on an RBI 581 Risk Analysis. Optimal bundle replacement frequency is not supported as part of this feature.
Important: This is a new damage mechanism model. You may review the Heat-Exchanger Bundle Components and assign this PDM if applicable and run an RBI 581 Risk Analysis.

You can now perform Inspection Planning at individual Degradation Mechanism level in the RBI 581 module. You can determine the Target Inspection Date at the Damage Mechanism level, which provides a granular approach to Inspection Planning. The Target Inspection Date is also calculated at the analysis level based on the driving Degradation Mechanism. The following new fields have been added to the Damage Mechanism to capture the planning results:
  • Inspection Will Mitigate
  • Risk Summary ID
  • Risk Summary Description

  • Displayed in the RBI 581 Analysis workspace in the Damage Mechanism section result grid.
  • Displayed in the RBI Asset workspace in the Degradation Mechanism Risk Overview section.
Important: If this option is enabled, this will impact the Target Inspection Date and Risk Results for each damage mechanism. You will have to re-run all the respective analyses.
