Access the GE Connection Workspace
Procedure
- Select GE Connection. The GE Connection workspace appears, displaying the GE Connection section and the GE Enterprises tab.
GE Analytics
This workflow describes the process of assessing and acting upon data that is transferred from a GE Analytics data source.

Integrate with M2M Data Source
Persona: Solution Administrator
Transfer data from a GE Analytics data source into the GE Digital APM database.
Go to the Integrate with M2M Data Source workflow.
Review GE Analytics
Persona: Analyst
Use the GE Analytics Overview page to view the imported GE Tags, Alerts, and Events. These may indicate either an issue with an asset (e.g., equipment or functional location) that the relevant GE System 1 or GE SmartSignal system is monitoring.
Assess Asset Health
Persona: Analyst
If GE Tag Alerts and Events indicate a deteriorated asset condition, you may want to review the Asset Health Summary for the asset. This allows you to take into consideration other relevant asset condition information such as trends, production events, work history, etc. when deciding whether action is required.
Go to the Assess Asset Health workflow.
Create Recommendation
Persona: Analyst
If action is required, create a new General Recommendation to implement the action.
Manage Performance Recommendations
Persona: Analyst
The GE Digital APM Recommendation is managed for approval and implementation through the Manage Performance Recommendations workflow.
