This workflow provides the basic, high-level steps for using Custom RBI Methodology Preferences. The steps and links in this workflow do not necessarily reference every possible procedure. For more procedures, see the links in the Related Information section.

Custom RBI Methodology Workflow

The steps and links in this workflow do not necessarily reference every possible procedure; however, to properly utilize Custom RBI Methodology Preferences, you must complete the steps in the following order:

1. Customize a new Degradation Mechanism Evaluation (DME) family and add it to the Has RBI Degradation Mechanism Evaluation relationship.
2. Create custom Degradation Mechanism Evaluations (DMs).
3. Create custom Potential Degradation Mechanisms (PDMs).
4. Create new Data Mapping Groups for custom Degradation Mechanism Evaluation (DME) family.
5. Create policies for custom Degradation Mechanism Evaluations (DMEs).
6. Create policies to validate custom Degradation Mechanism Evaluations (DMEs).
7. Configure Copy Preferences for a custom Degradation Mechanism Evaluation (DME).
