Connections that start at nodes that have a logical result output can be configured to create separate logic paths in a policy model. Specifically, you can specify whether or not a successor node will be executed based on the logical result of the preceding node. The GE Digital APM system will execute only the branches of a policy model where the logical result of a node matches the logic path defined for the corresponding connection.
Note: If you do not configure a logic path for a connection, a Yes path is assumed but does not appear on the model.
Steps
In the Design workspace, select the connection for which you want to specify a logic path.
The Properties window for the connection appears.
In the Logic Path box, specify whether the connection should be followed if the logical result of the preceding condition is true or false. Specifically:
