Restoring Archives using Volume Shadow Copy Service on Windows Vista or Windows 7.1

Procedure

Open the Control Panel.
Select Back up your computer.
The Back up or restore your files page appears.
Select Restore my files.
The Browse or search your backup for files and folders to restore page appears.
Select Browse for files or Browse for folders, select the items that you want to back up, and then select Next.
Select the destination path and then select Restore.
The Confirmation page appears.

What to do next

After restoring the archives files (that is, .bkf or .vhd into .iha) using the Windows Restore wizard is complete, you must restore the archives (.iha) into Historian.
