Delete the Buffer Files of a Collector
When you delete buffer files, the collector is stopped,
and after the buffer files are deleted, it is restarted.
Access Historian in Configuration Hub .
In the NAVIGATION section, select
Collectors .
A list of collectors appears.
Tip: You can filter the
collectors by the system name.
Right-click the collector instance whose buffer files you want to delete (or
select ), and then
select Clear Buffer .
A message appears, asking you to confirm that you want to clear the
buffer files.
Select Clear .
The Clear Buffer: <collector name> window appears.
If the collector is running in the command-line mode with a specific user
account, enter values in the USERNAME and
PASSWORD fields.
Select Clear .
The buffer files of the collector are deleted.
