Purpose
At GE Vernova, our Supplier Diversity Program is one way that we aim to have a positive impact within the places where we work and live. Having a healthy mixture of qualified suppliers provides greater innovation and flexibility in the supply base. Our GE Vernova Sourcing mission is to support our competitive pledge of excellence, ensure customer satisfaction, and increase GE Vernova’s sustainability while promoting innovation and flexibility. Our objective is always to find the most qualified suppliers who can meet safety, quality, delivery, price, and cash requirements.

Supplier Diversity Council and Program
GE Vernova is committed to building a strong Supplier Diversity Program that promotes growth and opportunities for all stakeholders. In order to do that we have created a Supplier Diversity Council with representatives from each of the GE Vernova businesses. Our council has three committees including our Standard Work Committee, our Data, Reporting, Outreach & Development Committee and our Awards & Recognition Committee. The entire Supplier Diversity Council is committed to continuous improvement and finding the most qualified suppliers who can meet safety, quality, delivery, price, and cash requirements.
Supplier Diversity Definition
A “Diverse Supplier” is defined as a company that is certified to be at least 51 percent owned, managed, and controlled by one or more minority persons, or non-minority women, or a small business that conforms to guidelines established by the United States Small Business Administration.
The main categories of small and diverse suppliers considered within GE Vernova’s Supplier Diversity Program are:
