Purpose

At GE Vernova, we believe that diversity and inclusion create better outcomes for our businesses, employees and communities. Our Supplier Diversity Program is one way that we aim to have a positive impact within the places where we work and live. Having a healthy mixture of small and diverse qualified suppliers provides greater innovation and flexibility in the supply base. Our GE Vernova Sourcing mission is to support our competitive pledge of excellence, ensure customer satisfaction, and increase GE Vernova’s sustainability while promoting diversity, innovation, and social responsibility. Our objective is always to find the most qualified suppliers who can meet safety, quality, delivery, price, and cash requirements.

Objectives

GE Vernova is committed to utilizing and fairly considering small and diverse suppliers to support the Company’s strategic sourcing of goods and services. Diverse suppliers that seek to do business with GE Vernova must demonstrate the ability to add value and provide high-quality goods and services safely that are competitively priced, reliable, and aligned with our commitment to deliver excellent service. GE Vernova recognizes that its business performance is enhanced through the expertise and creativity of all GE Vernova’s suppliers.

External Outreach Activities

Employee Recognition

GE Vernova will annually recognize Suppliers and Employee efforts for those going above and beyond to promote and support the development of small and diverse suppliers.

Supplier Diversity Council and Program

GE Vernova is committed to building a strong Supplier Diversity Program that promotes growth and opportunities for all stakeholders. In order to do that we have created a Supplier Diversity Council with representatives from each of the GE Vernova businesses. Our council has three committees including our Standard Work Committee, our Data, Reporting, Outreach & Development Committee and our Awards & Recognition Committee. The entire Supplier Diversity Council is committed to continuous improvement and are working diligently to assist all of GE Vernova achieve a world class Supplier Diversity Program.

Supplier Diversity Definition

A “Diverse Supplier” is defined as a company that is certified to be at least 51 percent owned, managed, and controlled by one or more minority persons, or non-minority women, or a small business that conforms to guidelines established by the United States Small Business Administration.
The main categories of small and diverse suppliers considered within GE Vernova’s Supplier Diversity Program are:

• Minority-owned Business
• Woman-owned Business
• LGBTQ+-owned Business
• Veteran-owned Business (including disabled veteran-owned)
• Disability-owned Business
• Small Business (as defined by the U.S. Government)
• Small Disadvantaged Business
• Qualified HUB Zone Small Business
• Alaskan Native Corporations and Indian Tribes
