Analysis Cards
About Analysis Cards
Analysis cards are part of the view layout. Each card contains one or more charts.
Analysis Cards allow you to logically group sets of charts that can be used to isolate or investigate a specific issue. The cards also allow you to quickly move to the chart set that would allow access to a specific set of charts.
Cards include charts on the analysis view, allowing you to perform analysis on the selected tags. All views contain at least one card. New cards contain a default blank chart where you can select a chart type.
You can add cards using via the view and in the Action drop-down list box in an existing card in the view. Cards can be shared to other templates.
When a view contains multiple cards, you can use to select and navigate to the cards in the view. A layout for the charts in each card can be selected.

About This Task
Procedure
Share an Analysis Card
You can share cards containing charts with templates that are available to you.
About This Task
You can use an existing template's cards as a building block when building new templates. Sharing cards allows you to take the existing cards in a template and add them to the new template so you can create new templates faster.
When you share a card on a view, you can apply it to one or more public or private Analysis Templates selected by you. Analysis Templates with shared cards can then be viewed, modified, and associated with an Alert Template. Analysis Templates that have modified cards affect existing associations with Alert Templates.
The name of the shared card can be modified prior to sharing, but cannot be left blank. Shared cards contain the charts, layout, and tags plotted, including tag expressions, but do not include any filter settings for the tags.
Procedure
Select a Card Layout
You can select how charts on a card appear by selecting a card layout.
