About OT AHI Connector

You can manage the Health Indicators for the OT Connect data using the OT AHI Connector. The OT AHI Connector allows you to create, edit, or delete the Health Indicators.

Access the OT AHI Connector Page

Before You Begin

Make sure that you are a part of any one of the following user group:
  • Super User
  • Member of the MI OT Health Indicator Administrator security role.

Procedure

In the Applications menu, select Tools, and then select OT AHI Connector.
The OT AHI Connector page appears, displaying the asset hierarchy and a list of existing Health Indicators for the selected asset.

Create a Health Indicator

Procedure

  1. Access the OT AHI Connector page.
  2. In the asset hierarchy, select the asset for which you want to create the health indicator.
    The health indicators for the selected asset appear in the Health Indicators workspace.
  3. Select Create New.
    The Create Health Indicator for Asset window appears.
  4. In the OT SOURCES section, select the required OT Source.
    The Source Tags for the selected OT Source appear in the SOURCE TAGS section.
  5. Select the source tag for which you want to create the health indicator.
  6. In the HEALTH INDICATOR section, complete the following fields:
    • Data Type: The value in this field is populated automatically based on the selected Source Tag.
    • Name: Define a name for the health indicator.
    • Description: Add a description for the health indicator.
    • Upper Level: Define the upper level of the health indicator. You can define up to three upper levels.
    • Lower Level: Define the lower level of the health indicator. You can define up to three lower levels.
  7. Select Save.
    The health indicator is created.

Modify a Health Indicator

Procedure

  1. Access the OT AHI Connector page.
  2. In the asset hierarchy, select the asset for which you want to modify the health indicator.
    The health indicators available for the selected asset appear in the Health Indicators workspace.
  3. In the Name column, select health indicator that you want to modify.
    The Edit Health Indicator window appears.
  4. Modify the required fields.
  5. Select Save.
    The health indicator is updated.

Delete a Health Indicator

Procedure

  1. Access the OT AHI Connector page.
  2. In the asset hierarchy, select the asset for which you want to delete the health indicator.
    The health indicators available for the selected asset appear in the Health Indicators workspace.
  3. Select the health indicators that you want to delete, and then select Delete.
    The selected health indicators are deleted.
