Import Failure Modes from Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) and Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM)

Note: You can only import Failure Modes from RCM and FMEA if the assets are linked to the RCA.

Steps

1. Access the Logic Tree Diagram containing the event to which you want to attach imported Failure Modes from FMEA and RCM.
2. On the design canvas, select the Event node.

3. At the top of the workspace, in the Manage Diagram section, select , and then select Import From RCM and FMEA.

   The Import From RCM and FMEA window appears, displaying a list of assets that are linked to the analysis.

   

4. Select the assets containing Failure Modes that you want to import.

   A list of Failure Modes linked to the selected assets appears.

   

5. Select the Failure Modes that you want to import, and then select Finish.

   The Logic Tree workspace appears, displaying the newly added Failure Mode to the Logic Tree diagram for the selected analysis.
