If a policy contains an Input node that represents a primary record, you can specify that node as the primary node in a policy model. Doing so will streamline the process of creating policy instances.
Note the following limitations that apply to primary nodes:
Steps
In the Design workspace, select the Input node that you want to specify as the primary node.
The Properties window for the Input node appears.
On the Properties window, select the Primary Record check box.
A blue star appears on the upper-left corner of the node in the policy model, indicating that the node is the primary node in the policy.
In the Policy section of the toolbar, select
The policy is saved.
