In the upper-right corner of the Custom DME Configuration section, select
A new Custom DME Configuration datasheet appears, displaying the Master section.
In the Master section:
- In the Degradation Mechanism Evaluation Methodology box, select the Custom DME methodology that you want to customize.
- In the Policy Name box, select the policy that should be used for the selected Degradation Mechanism Evaluation Methodology.

In the Sequence box, enter the order in which the policies for this DME will be executed.
Note: If there is only one policy, enter 1.
Tip: All required information is provided, but for additional information, refer to the RBI Custom DME Evaluation Configuration records topic.
Select the Detail tab.
The Detail section of the Custom DME Configuration datasheet appears.
Enter the following information:
- In the Input Entity Family box, select the family of the Input Entity that you want to include in the custom DME policy.
- In the Policy Node Name box, enter the name of the Entity node in the policy to which you want the input entity mapped.

In the upper-right corner of the datasheet, select
The Custom DME Configuration is created.
