Creating a Security Group in a Windows 2008 Domain

Procedure

In the Control Panel, double-click Administrative Tools.
The Administrative Tools dialog box appears.
Double-click the Active Directory Users and Computer icon.
The Active Directory dialog box appears.
In the Active Directory Tree display, select Users.
Right-click Users and select New > Group.
The New Object - Group dialog box appears.
In the Group name field, enter the name of the new Historian group exactly as you have defined it. Leave the other default options unchanged.
Click OK to create the new group.
