Uninstalling OPC Collectors

The OPC Server must be installed before proceeding.

To remove the last installed OPC Collector and add a new collector:

  1. Run the Historian install program.
    The install program automatically detects and displays all installed components in the Select Components screen. Do not clear the check box next to any of the selected components unless you want to uninstall them.
  2. Ensure that the OPC Collector component is selected.
  3. Click Next.
    As you continue with the install, a screen displays a list of OPC ProgIDs.
  4. Deselect the check box for each OPC Server ProgID that you want to uninstall.
    If you installed multiple OPC Collectors and want to remove all of them, when you run the installation program, clear the OPC Collector check box, and proceed through the installation. This removes all installed OPC Collectors.
