Set a Default Location
A default location is a server in a system which is considered when you do not

store. By default, the distributed location in the primary server is the

- You cannot delete a default location.
- You can set any of the distributed/mirror locations as default.
- Access Historian in Configuration Hub.
-
In the NAVIGATION section, select
Systems.
A list of systems appears in the main section.
-
Select the system in which you want to set a default location.
The details of the system appear in the DETAILS section.
-
Expand System Defaults, and then next to
Default Location, select .
The Default Location: <system name> window appears. The Location box contains a list of all the servers in the system.
-
Select the location that you want to set as default, and then select
Set as Default.
The location is set as default.
