About Connections

To import an Event from the GE Renewables Digital Wind Farm suite into APM, you must first establish a connection between GAA Wind and an external web service that facilitates the transfer of data. To do so, you must configure the connections in GAA Wind by providing the appropriate URL and credentials to the external server.

Access a Connection

Procedure

Access the GAA Wind Administrator page.
Select the Connections tab.
A pane containing a list of Connections appears.
In the pane, select the Connection that you want to access.
The datasheet of the selected Connection appears.

Note: You can modify the values in the available fields, and then select to save your changes.

Create a Connection

Procedure

Access the GAA Wind Administrator page.
Select the Connections tab.
A pane containing a list of Connections appears.
Select .
A blank datasheet appears.
As needed, enter values in the available fields.
Select .

The Connection is created.

Import Events.

Delete a Connection

Procedure

Access the GAA Wind Administrator page.
Select the Connections tab.
A pane containing a list of Connections appears.
In the pane, select the Connection that you want to delete.
The datasheet of the selected Connection appears.
Select .
The Delete Connection window appears, asking you to confirm that you want to delete the Connection.
Select Yes.
The Connection is deleted.
