The following enhancements and new features have been added.

To improve the performance of Predix Essentials, the data of the <Asset Name> workspace is no longer refreshed automatically when you navigate away from the workspace, and then access the data in the <Asset Name> workspace. However, you can now manually refresh the data of the <Asset Name> workspace. To facilitate this enhancement, a new button, Refresh (), has been added to the <Asset Name> workspace.US397034
To improve usability, the following enhancements have been made to the Asset Hierarchy panel:
  • A new icon, , has been added to the Asset Hierarchy panel to collapse the panel.
  • A new icon, , has been added to the <Asset Name> workspace to expand the panel.
  • A breadcrumb containing the full hierarchy path now appears on the panel, indicating the level of an equipment or functional location within the Asset Hierarchy. The breadcrumb also allows you to easily navigate to the parent functional location of an equipment or functional location.
  • You can now resize the panel by dragging the border of the panel to the required width.

The following issues that existed in one or more previous versions have been resolved.

Previously, you could not create an Asset Hierarchy for an equipment or a functional location that contained multiple parent equipment or functional locations, and no error message appeared to indicate the same. Now, in this scenario, an error message appears indicating that there are multiple parent-level equipment or functional locations for the equipment or functional location and the Asset Hierarchy cannot be created.DE132361
Previously, when you created an Asset Group based on a query, you could add a maximum of 25 assets to the group. This limitation has been removed. Now, you can add all the assets that are part of a query result.DE124562
Previously, when the name of an asset contained a long string, the asset name was truncated in Predix Essentials. This issue has been resolved.
Note: In the Asset Hierarchy panel, you can view the complete name of such assets in a tooltip only when you hover over the asset name.
