Mimic Card
A mimic card provides a specific view of a process diagram associated with an asset. This allows you to monitor and control production equipment and processes.
The mimic card widget is available under designing application pages, drag and drop GEMimicCard to a container.

The mimic card also allows you to update values during runtime, and get results immediately.
You can use the mimic card with or without a model. When not using a model, create pages and assign direct tags.
Mimic Card Properties
Field Name | Description |

Asset Name (Optional Override) | Provide the asset name for which you want to replace its currently
assigned mimic. Note: You can opt to override either an asset name or a mimic
name. If you attempt to override both, only the asset name is
considered. |
Mimic Name (Optional Override) | Provide the mimic name to replace the currently assigned mimic. The new
mimic must use only direct tags (not model-based) for its data sources. Also,
the new mimic cannot use click-target navigation as the mimic has no context
for navigation when loaded in this manner. Note: If you do not specify an
override for both the asset name or mimic name, then the mimic from the
selected asset context in a breadcrumb is considered. When not using the
breadcrumb in an application, it is mandatory to provide an override either
for the asset name or the mimic name. |
Height | Allows to set the height of the widget at runtime. You can set the values in percent or pixels. For example, 100%, 50%, 300, etc. |
Override Mimic Background Color | Overrides the mimic's background color. |
Background Color | Adds a background color. |
Show Border | Displays a border. |
Border Color | Adds a border color. |
Hidden | Select this check box if you want to hide the
plug-in. To show the hidden plug-in in Operations Hub new layout, go
to Page Visuals and under
Action column, select ![]() |
