Visual Changes

  • Inspection Management: You can now view data related to an Inspection task (such as Task Execution and Confirmation). You can also configure additional related records. This will considerably reduce the number of clicks to view information related to the Inspection Task. For more information, refer to Access the Related Records of an Inspection Task.
  • Risk Based Inspection:
    • You can now view the risk results of Damage Mechanisms for all RBI components associated with an asset. This will considerably reduce the number of clicks to understand the RBI risk for all RBI components related to an asset.
    • You can now navigate to the Asset Health Manager module for an asset from the RBI Asset Overview and RBI Inspection Plan workspaces using the new Asset Health Manager link in the Asset Info Summary.

Performance Improvements

  • Asset Criticality Analysis: Performance has been improved when adding an asset to an Asset Criticality Analysis because of using the Asset Finder functionality.
  • Asset Strategy Implementation: Performance has been improved in the Actions section in the ASI Overview page.
  • Asset Strategy Management: Performance has been improved in the following workflows:
    • Creating Actions and Risks
    • Activating an Asset Strategy or Asset Strategy Template
    • Creating an Asset Strategy (now uses the Asset Finder functionality)
    • Looking for Assets to apply a template (now uses the Asset Finder functionality)
  • Failure Modes and Effects Analysis: Performance has been improved when adding an asset to an FMEA Analysis because of using the Asset Finder functionality.
  • Reliability Analytics: When running a scenario in System Reliability, you can now set a simulation time limit. The simulation runs for the specified time limit before initiating a timeout.

Features and Enhancements

  • 360 View: You can now specify a Graph or Query catalog item in the Content Path field of a 360 View Tab Config record, and the selected item will be displayed as a Graph, Query, or Map in the 360 View. For more information, refer to About Configuring 360 View Definitions.
  • Family Policies:
    • You can now configure the Email node to send a plain text email.
    • To enhance usability and simplify entity value comparison, a new input node named Previous Entity has been added in the Before Update family policy. For more information, refer to Previous Entity Nodes in Family Policies.
    • You can now configure the behavior of a field to display the Asset Finder. For more information, refer to About Behaviour Section Fields.
  • Rounds Pro: You can now create and update records in bulk using the new Rounds Pro Step Readings Data Loader. The Data Loader uses the baseline Rounds Pro data model to create Step Readings and link them with the other records used in Rounds Pro. Using the Data Loader, you can create and update Step Readings records for a Route Instance. For more information, refer to About the Rounds Pro Data Loaders.
  • Security Manager: To enable exporting a query to a file and to support scheduled export a baseline Security Group, Security Group for Query Export has been assigned to the following Security Roles:
    • MI Foundation Admin
    • MI Foundation Power
    • MI Foundation User
  • Thickness Monitoring: You can now define bands up to 36 and 48 positions to help visualize thickness measurement locations and its related corrosion analysis for larger diameter piping asset. You cannot, however, rotate or flip a piping component with such bands. For more information, refer to About Piping Rotation and Flip.
