Security Manager

Previously, during LDAP synchronization, user records were not synchronized if either of the following conditions existed:
  • In Active Directory, the LastName field for the user was blank.
  • In Active Directory, the value in the LastName field or FirstName field was a single character matching a character in the Password field. In this scenario, the following error message appeared: password must not contain firstname, lastname, or userId.

This issue has been resolved. Now, user records with these conditions are synchronized as expected. In Active Directory, if the LastName field for a user is blank, it will be populated with LastName in the GE Digital APM Security User record during synchronization.
