RBI 580

The following fields have been added to the Criticality Calculator Ext. Corr. Deg. Mech. Eval. datasheet:
  • Number of Penetrations
  • Number of Terminations
  • Number of Vertical Runs
The values in these fields, along with the value in the Total Piping Length field in the RBI Analysis, are used for calculating the complexity of the piping circuit, which impacts the value in the Age field of the piping component.
TFS327553
You can now use the Risk Based Inspection (RBI) 580 Data Loader to update an analysis that is in the Created state.TFS328036
The following Damage Mechanism Evaluations will now be validated during calculation of RBI Criticality Analysis, such that the date in the Inspection Date field is equal to or later than the date in the Date in Service field:

Criticality Ext. Corr. Deg. Mech. Eval

Criticality Env. Crack. Deg. Mech. Eval

Criticality Int. Corr. Deg. Mech. Eval

TFS285479

LDAP

Now, during LDAP synchronization, if the culture LDAP Field value for a user does not match a valid GE Digital APM culture value, the culture en-US will be assigned to the user. If the timeZone LDAP Field value for a user does not match a valid GE Digital APM time zone value, the default time zone specified on the User Defaults page will be assigned to the user.
TFS330264
When configuring LDAP integration, you can now specify that the GE Digital APM login password for users should never expire. To facilitate this enhancement, a new check box, Enable Password Change, has been added to the LDAP Manager page. By default, this check box is selected. If you clear the check box and run the LDAP synchronization, then you will not be prompted to change the password for logging in to GE Digital APM.TFS336415

Thickness Monitoring

Table 26. Enhancements
DescriptionTracking ID
If a Thickness Measurement Location (TML) is categorized as Growth or High Loss, you can now compare the latest measurement value with the previous measurement value. To facilitate this enhancement, in the Analysis Overview workspace, in the TMLs section, the grid now includes the Near Measurement Value column. For each TML in the grid, this column displays the measurement value of the Thickness Measurement created before the latest one.TFS335009
The TM Quick View page has been enhanced to improve usability. To facilitate this enhancement, the following changes have been made:
  • The Filter button () has been moved to the upper-left corner of the page.
  • The boxes to specify the date range that previously appeared on the page have been removed. To filter data, you can now select the Filter button (), and then specify the date range.
  • The TMLs for which measurements have not been taken now appear along with the TMLs which contain at least one measurement.

TFS331498

TFS329951

On various pages in Thickness Monitoring, the list of TMLs are now displayed in a results grid, which provides the following features:
  • Selecting multiple TMLs
  • Filtering search results
  • Changing the order of the columns
  • Pagination
TFS330283
In the Measurement Data Entry workspace, you can now enter multiple readings in the Readings box by specifying the values separated by semi-colon. In addition, the Readings window now appears only if you select the More Options button () in the Readings box.TFS325497
Color-coding is now applied to:
  • The list of Thickness Measurement Locations (TMLs) in the TMLs section in the Analysis Overview workspace.
  • The list of Thickness Measurements in the Measurements section in the workspace for the TML.
Color-coding indicators are applied based on whether the TMLs and Thickness Measurements meet certain criteria, as described in the following table:
CategoryVisual Cue Purpose
Below T-Min Indicates that the latest measurement value is less than the minimum thickness.
OverdueIndicates that the scheduled next inspection date or the projected T-Min date of a TML is overdue. This category is not applicable to Thickness Measurements.
High Loss Indicates that the percentage of decrease between the latest measurement and the previous one is greater than a specified value.
GrowthIndicates that there is an increase in the latest measurement value from the previous one.
NormalIndicates that the measurement is normal.
In addition, you can now:
  • View the number of records that belong to each category.
  • Filter the records based on category.
  • Specify the high loss value that should be considered for the High Loss category. To facilitate this enhancement, on the TM Admin Preferences page, in the Global Preferences workspace, the High Loss box has been added.
