About Access to Configuration Manager Features
You need a Developers license to perform the following functions:
- Adding or deleting an Entity family on the Family Management page.
- Adding an Entity family by using the Import tool.
- Adding or deleting Fields via the Family Management page.
- Adding family Fields by using the Import tool.
- Adding, editing, or deleting Relationship families via the Family Management page.
- Adding or editing Relationship families by using the Import tool.
- Adding, editing, or deleting Relationship Definitions via Family Management page.
- Adding or editing Relationship Definitions by using the Import tool.
- Adding, editing, or deleting VB Rules by using Rules Editor.
The following table lists the permissions granted to the MI Configuration Role Security Group for accessing the various administrative features of Configuration Manager.
