Workflow

The ACA workflow provides the steps for establishing the criticality of assets with APM. The assessment is based on the worst-likely case consequence of failure of the asset to provide an overall criticality value. This provides a prioritization for asset strategy development, performance improvement efforts and day-to-day asset management activities.

Create an Asset Criticality Analysis to assess the criticality of the assets in the analysis.

Persona: Analyst

Assign the assets to an analysis to assess criticality.

Persona: Analyst

Assess the criticality of the assets contained in the analysis.

Persona: Analyst

Once the criticality assessments are complete for the assets in the analysis, approve the analysis.

Persona: Analyst

Optionally, you can update the ABC Indicator field for the asset in SAP. This requires the SAP Criticality Interface license.
