Unlink a Protective Instrument Loop Logic Solver

Note: Unlinking a Protective Instrument Loop Logic Solver alters the calculations for the protective instrument loop. Hence, you must review the calculations again.

Steps

  1. Access the Protective Instrument Loop Logic Solver that you want to unlink.
  2. In the upper-right corner of the datasheet, select Unlink.

    Note: The Unlink button is enabled only if the logic solver is a linked element.

  3. If the Protective Instrument Loop Logic Solver that you want to replace is not linked to any other loop, a message appears, indicating that the Protective Instrument Loop Logic Solver will be deleted. Select OK.

    The Protective Instrument Loop Logic Solver is unlinked.
