Unlink a Protective Instrument Loop Final Element System

Note: Unlinking a Protective Instrument Loop Final Element System record alters the calculations of the loop. Hence, you must verify the calculations again in the GE Digital APM system.

Steps

  1. Access the Protective Instrument Loop Final Element System that you want to unlink.
  2. In the upper-right corner of the datasheet, select Unlink.

    Note: The Unlink button is enabled only if the Final Element System is a linked element.

  3. If the Protective Instrument Loop Final Element System that you want to replace is not linked to any other loop, a message appears, indicating that the Protective Instrument Loop Final Element System will be deleted. Select OK.

    The Protective Instrument Loop Final Element System is replaced by a default record.
