You can delete a Common Cause Failure only if it is linked to a single Instrumented Function. Otherwise, you can only unlink it from the selected Instrumented Function. In this case, you must first unlink the Common Cause Failure from all the other Instrumented Functions, and then delete it.
Steps
In the workspace, select the SIL Assessment tab, and then select Common Cause Failures.
The Common Cause Failures subsection appears, displaying a list of Common Cause Failures linked to the Instrumented Function.
Select the
A confirmation message appears, asking if you really want to delete the Common Cause Failure.
Select Yes.
The Common Cause Failure is deleted.
