About the Route Status on a Windows Mobile Device

Routes on a Windows Mobile Device can have a status of either In Progress or Finished. If you enter reading data for any checkpoint in a Route, the status of the Route will be In Progress, by default. After you enter reading data for all checkpoints in the Route, the GE Digital APM system changes the status of the Route to Finished automatically.

When working with Routes on a Windows Mobile Device:

A Route's status must be In Progress in order for you to modify reading data for the checkpoints in the Route.
A Route's status must be Finished in order for you to upload data for the Route to GE Digital APM.

If desired, you can change the status of a Route manually. For example:

If you want to upload readings for an incomplete Route to GE Digital APM, prior to syncing, you can change the status of the Route to Finished.
If you want to modify readings for a checkpoint that is part of a completed Route, you can change the status of the Route to In Progress.

When you change the status of a Route, you can also provide comments about the Route. These comments will be stored in the Route History record that is created when the completed Route is uploaded to GE Digital APM.
