When you enter a reading for a numeric checkpoint using the Readings - Detail screen, depending upon the reading value parameters that have been set up for the numeric checkpoint, a message may appear after you enter a reading value. Specifically, you may see a message indicating that the value you entered:
In addition, if one of these messages appears, the value that you entered will be cleared automatically and replaced with the value that was entered for the checkpoint since it was last synced with the GE Digital APM database. Note that if you see this message after you enter the first reading value for the checkpoint, the previously entered value will be null.
For example, assume that for the General Check checkpoint, the minimum valid reading value parameter is 35. In this case, if you enter the reading value 30, no message appears.
If, however, you change the reading value from 30 to 40, a message will appear indicating that the reading value must be lower than 35, and the reading value will be reverted back to 30 automatically.
While you can save a reading with a value that triggered one of these messages, if you see one of these messages, you should check the reading value again and change it if the previous reading you entered was a mistake.
In addition, if you enter a reading value that has been configured in the GE Digital APM application to trigger an alert, when you try to navigate away from that checkpoint on the Windows Mobile Device, the Readings - Alert screen will appear.
