Add a Node to the Event Diagram

You can add a node to the Event Diagram from the Palette in the design canvas or copy an existing node.

Before you Begin

• Define a Failure Event

Steps

1. Access the Event Diagram to which you want to add a node.
2. In the upper portion of the workspace, in the Palette section, select the icon that represents the type of node you want to add, and then drag it to the required location on the design canvas.

3. In the upper-right corner of the workspace, select .

   The Properties window appears, displaying the datasheet for the selected node.

4. As needed, enter values in the available fields.

5. Select .

   The node is saved and linked automatically to the selected RCA.
