Note: Before a log entry can be saved, Shift records must exist in your GE Digital system. If Shift records do not yet exist in your system, you can create them using the Record Explorer.
Steps
In the upper-right corner of the page, select New Log Entry, and then select one of the following types of log entries, or a Log Entry type that has been created:
Generation Event: This log entry is used to document events related to power generation.
Note: You can create corresponding Primary Events in Generation Availability Analysis (GAA) by selecting
General: This log entry is used to document general findings.
Safety Bypass: This log entry is used to document temporary changes to processes, procedures, or systems related to ensuring safety.
Shift Transition: This log entry is used to report findings related to shift periods and to document when shifts begin and end.
Temporary Repair: This log entry is used to document temporary repairs.
The datasheet for the selected log entry type appears.
As needed, enter values in the available fields, and then select
The Log Entry datasheet is saved.
