Delete an Inventory Group Configuration Record

Before You Begin

• You can delete an Inventory Group Configuration record only if you are a super user or a member of the MI RBI Administrator Security Group.

Steps

1. Access the RBI 581 Inventory Groups workspace.

2. In the list on the left side of the workspace, select the process unit that is linked to the Inventory Group Configuration record that you want to delete.

   The inventory groups in the process unit appear.

   

3. In the list on the left side of the workspace, select the Inventory Group Configuration that you want to delete.

   The datasheet for the Inventory Group Configuration appears in the Details section.

4. In the upper-right corner of the datasheet, select .

   The Confirm Delete dialog box appears, asking you to confirm that you want to delete the inventory group.

5. Select Yes.

   The Inventory Group Configuration record is deleted.

Results

• If you create an RBI 581 Risk Analysis for components that once belonged to the deleted inventory group, the value in the Inventory Group Mass field will no longer be populated automatically.
