Select the Custom DME Validation tab.
The Custom DME Validation section appears.
In the upper-right corner of the section, select
A new Custom DME Validation datasheet appears, displaying the Master section.
Enter the following information:
- In the Degradation Mechanism Evaluation Methodology box, select the Custom DME methodology that you want to validate.
- In the Policy Name box, select the policy that should be used for the selected Degradation Mechanism Evaluation Methodology.

In the Sequence box, enter the order in which the validation policies for this DME will be executed.
Note: If there is only one policy, enter 1.
Tip: All required information is provided, however, for additional information, refer to the RBI Custom DME Evaluation Configuration records topic.
Select the Detail tab.
The Detail section of the Custom DME Validation datasheet appears.
Enter the following information:
- In the Input Entity Family box, select the family of the Input Entity that you want to put in the custom DME validation policy.
- In the Policy Node Name box, enter the name of the Entity node in the validation policy to which you want the input entity mapped.

In the upper-right corner of the datasheet, select
The Custom DME Validation is created.
