Data links give you a flexible tool for displaying text and values from process databases. Data links provide:
- Access to any data source.
- The ability to enter data.
- Flexible display formatting.
- Definable output error messages.
With VisiconX Controls, you might want to use Data links to quickly test out some design features for your SQL queries and displays. For users who manually enter or paste in SQL commands, using a Data link gives you the ability to edit the command in Run mode and see the results immediately.
