Running Schedules in the Background

To select the schedules you want to run in the background:

  1. In Classic view, from the iFIX WorkSpace menu, select User Preferences.

In Ribbon view, on the Home tab, in the WorkSpace group, click Settings, and then click User Preferences.

  1. Click the Background Startup tab.
  2. Click the Add button and enter a file name (EVS files) for the schedule you want to run when iFIX starts. Optionally, click the Browse button to locate the file.
  3. Repeat step 3 until you have added all the files you want to run in the background.
  4. Select a file and click the Delete button to remove any schedules you no longer want to run in the background.
  5. Double-click any existing entry to modify it, as needed.
