Add and Modify Groups

To add a new group to your driver configuration:

1. In the Power Tool's Tree Browser, select the server that you want to add a group to.
2. From the Display Mode menu, choose Config Mode.
3. From the Edit menu, choose Add Group. The new group appears in the Tree Browser and the group properties appear in the Properties Viewer.
4. Enter the properties for the new group. Edits to a property do not take effect until you remove the focus (the cursor) from the field.
5. Select the Enable check box to enable communication for the new group.

 To modify an existing group:

1. In the Power Tool's Tree Browser, select the group you want to modify.
2. In the Properties View, edit the group’s properties as needed. If the group is connected to the OPC server, it updates automatically after you remove the focus (the cursor) from the current field.
