Using the Server-to-Server Distributor
About this task
The Server-to-Server Distributor should automatically start when you start your system. If it is not running, refer to Data Collectors General > Configuring a Data Collector for automatic Startup.
Note: The distributor must run on a computer with Historian 6.0 or above. The destination archiver can be an older version than 6.0.
To display the Configuration Tab for a Server-to-Server Distributor in the Historian Administrator, select a Server-to-Server Distributor from the list in the left and click the Configuration Tab. The screen shown in the following figure appears.
Procedure
To display the Configuration screen for a Server-to-Server Distributor in the Historian Administrator, select a Server-to-Server Distributor from the list in the left and click the Configuration tab.
The Collector Specific Configuration (ServerToServerDistributor) screen appears.
