Configure Email Settings

Procedure

  1. Access the Email Settings page.
  2. In the From box, enter the email address that you want to appear in the From field of emails generated by Essentials.
    Note:
    • By default, the notification emails are sent from apm.unified@ge.com.
    • Email address is case sensitive. For example, if you verify sender@ABC.com, you cannot send email from sender@abc.com unless you verify sender@abc.com as well.
    A warning message appears, asking you to verify the email address.
    Important: If the email address is not verified, the email notifications will not be sent.
  3. Select Verify Email.
    A verification email is sent to the email address configured in the From box
    Note: If the email address is already verified, further steps are not required.
  4. Access the email inbox that you configured in the From box.
  5. Select the verification link in the email to complete the email verification process.
  6. Select .
    All the emails are now configured to be sent via Amazon SES .
    Tip: To send a test email to confirm that email settings have been configured successfully, select Test Settings, then, on the window that appears, enter values in the available fields, and then select Send.
