About the Cost Benefit Analysis Report for an Enterprise, Site, and Asset

The Cost Benefit Analysis Report for an enterprise enables you to analyze the cost avoided by resolving the cases that were created for the assets in the enterprise. This includes the cases that were resolved for the sites within the enterprise. Similarly, you can prepare the report at site level or asset level. You can specify the period for which you want to view the report in the header section of the page. The report provides the following information for the specified period:
  • The total number of cases created for the selected (one or more) enterprises, sites and assets and the total cost saved by resolving these cases.
  • The avoided cost based on the sites, cases, and closure code of cases.
  • Breakdown of the avoided cost for each case.
  • List of all cases that were resolved for the enterprise, along with links to access the details of the cases.
  • List of the ten highest cost saving cases of the enterprise.
The information in the report is presented using graphical elements such as charts and tables. This makes it convenient to analyze the information. The report is divided into the following sections to segregate the information for better analysis:
  • Total Avoided Cost Analysis
  • Case Count Analysis
  • CBA Cases Report
  • Total Avoided Cost Distribution Analysis

All monetary values in the report are displayed in the currency configured for the enterprise and it appears in the Currency field in CBA Cases Report.

Note: You can filter the cases based on the closure date. When you enter a date in the Case Closed On Date Range field, all the cases that were closed in that selected date range, will be listed in the CBA analysis report.


About the Total Avoided Cost Analysis

About the Case Count Analysis

The Case Count Analysis section in the CBA Dashboard for an enterprise contains the following:

Case Count and Total Avoided Cost By Case Closure Code
The bar chart in this section represents the graphical distribution on number of cases and the total cost avoided.
Cases Count and Total Avoided Cosy by Sitename
The bar chart appears in this section represents the graphical comparison on number of cases on site level and the total cost avoided.

About the CBA Cases Report

This section comprises the following tabs:
Top 10 CBA Cases
This tab features a table highlighting the top ten highest cost-saving cases resolved for the enterprise.
All CBA Cases
This tab features a table detailing all cost-saving cases resolved for the enterprise.
Interactive Top 10 Cases
This tab enables you to sort, filter, and aggregate data in individual columns by activating the interactive menu through the column titles. You can also export the data and plot various charts using the Settings menu.
Each table includes a breakdown of the cost savings achieved by resolving the cases, along with links to view detailed information for each case. The table contains the following columns:
  • CASE ID
  • CASE DESCRIPTION
  • CLOSURE CODE
  • STATUS
  • CURRENCY
  • PRODUCTION AVOIDED COST
  • MECHANICAL AVOIDED COST

About the Total Avoided Cost Distribution Analysis

The Avoided Cost Distribution Analysis section in the CBA Dashboard contains the following:

Avoided Cost By Likelihood, Mechanical Impact & Asset Types
The pie chart in this section represents the graphical distribution of Total Avoided Cost, displayed at the center, Asset/Fault Type, which is categorized by different colors, Mechanical Impact on the Y-axis, and Event Likelihood on the X-axis. Additionally, the size of the circles indicates the count of cases. You can also view this analysis by the year of case creation using the animation bar located at the top.

The pie chart in this section represents the graphical distribution of Total Avoided Cost displayed at the center, Case Closure Codes, which is categorized by different colors, Mechanical Impact on the X-axis, and Event Likelihood on the Y-axis. Additionally, the size of the circles indicates the count of cases. You can also view this analysis by the year of case creation using the animation bar located at the top.

You can also personalize each widget container using the + icon which allows you to add new charts from the Advanced Visualization content repository.
