Basic Objects: Ellipses

  1. Do one of the following.
    • Click the Ellipse button in the Drawing tab>Shapes group on the CimEdit Ribbon bar..
    • Click Tools>Ellipse on the menu bar.

    The cursor changes to a crossbar.

  2. Move the cursor to the starting position for the object.
  3. Hold down the left mouse button and drag the mouse to the ending position for the ellipse.
  4. Release the mouse button.

The ellipse will appear as you drew it. Handles are available for moving and resizing the object.

Tip: When you click the Ellipse button, then click the left mouse button a duplicate of the last ellipse appears.
